Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a shop/manufacturing setting.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP system is required.
• Able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certifications.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against BOL and maintain receiving records.
• Prepare receiving documents and secure mill test reports.
• Scan and file receiving documents and test reports.
• Handle goods using crane or forklift to designated locations.
• Report damaged/incorrect paperwork to supervisor.
• Monitor receiving reports for accuracy with purchased material.
• Notify sales/leadership when items are received.
• Build loads.
• Print and file BOL and shipping documents.
• Schedule scrap pickups and enter scrap orders.
• Print and label orders from customer shipment entry.
• Enter data into customer portals as needed.
• Package orders as required.
