Job summary

Onealmfgservices in Indianapolis is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify incoming shipments against the bill of lading, prepare receiving documents, and secure mill test reports for inbound material. Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against BOL and maintain receiving records.

• Print and label orders from customer shipment entry.
• Enter data into customer portals as needed.
• Package orders as required.

• Note on incoming paperwork damaged or incorrect goods and report the issue to the supervisor.
• Monitor receiving reports to ensure accuracy and coordination with purchased material.
• Advise appropriate sales or leadership members when specific items are received.
• Build loads.
• Print and file bill of lading (BOL) and shipping documents.
• Schedule scrap for pick-up and entering scrap orders.
• Print and label orders from customer shipment entry.
• Entering information into customer portals, as necessary.
• Package orders, as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years working in a shop or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
• Experience with ERP system required.
• Able to obtain OMS Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications.
• Able to work in a high-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to bend, stand, climb, twist and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform sedentary work including sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
• Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
• Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel may be required occasionally.
