Job summary

Jefferson Southern Corporation in Rockmart, GA is seeking a seasoned MRO Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist to lead the transformation of our MRO operations into an ERP-driven, Min/Max replenishment model using Plex.

You will own MRO part numbers, drive 5S in storage areas, oversee cycle counts, align suppliers, and guide a trained team toward autonomous, efficient operations across the plant and group. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese or Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of leadership in MRO inventory management or related purchasing in manufacturing.
• ERP mastery with Plex experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong Excel data analysis and cycle counting proficiency.
• Fluent English; Japanese or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plex registration and Min/Max setup for MRO items.
• Manage MRO part numbers and standardize cataloging/descriptions.
• Direct inventory cycle counting and achieve 90%+ accuracy.
• Drive full 5S implementation across MRO storage and work areas.
• Mentor MRO team and realign duties for autonomous operation.
• Coordinate supplier alignment and logistics to optimize procurement.
