Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for an onsite contract-to-hire role in Akron, PA. The position focuses on accurate input of technical data, BOMs, drawings, and ERP-driven records using Sage and Excel, with daily audits and cross-department collaboration.

You will work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, reporting support, and confidentiality. Prior manufacturing admin/data entry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven data entry experience with technical data in an admin or data entry role.
• Strong Excel skills for input, manipulation, and reporting.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• High attention to detail and data quality.
• Good communication across departments.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret BOM information and input data into databases and systems.
• Verify completeness and accuracy before entry.
• Conduct regular data audits to identify and fix errors.
