ERP Consulting Manager

Job summary

Xitricon is seeking an ERP Consulting Manager/Project Manager for our USA region. The role focuses on delivering ERP implementation projects on time and within budget, using established methodologies and tools. You will act as the single point of contact for clients and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of project management experience, ERP project delivery, and familiarity with Agile. A University degree or MBA is preferred, and Prince2 or PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Prior ERP implementation project management experience (full lifecycle preferred).
• Experience with Agile methodology would be an asset.
• Prince2 or PMP certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project quality and the correct use of the Implementation Methodology and implementation tools to include overall project planning, direction and guidance.
• Be responsible for the project status and the reporting to the Project Steering Group.
• Detailed level involvement in all project management activities including planning, execution, monitoring, control and reporting.
• Single point of contact for the project for all stakeholders.
• Motivate the team and drive towards achieving planned timelines.
• Ensure implementation projects are delivered to budget and on time.
• Manage scope and variations.
• Control of commercial, resource time and project risks.
• Oversee all communications and progress reporting with the customer.
• Coordinate all resources allocated to the customer project.
• Review all time and cost each week/month, and to produce the invoices within the relevant reporting deadlines.
• Liaise with the Finance Department in the progress and payment of outstanding invoices, in order to minimise account receivable balances.
• Oversee the delivery of technical development within the established technical procedures.
• From time to time, the Senior/Project Manager may be required to liaise with sales management to provide pre-sales consultancy/presentations, and to construct responses and customer proposals.

Qualifications/ Experience

• University degree, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Prior experience in managing ERP implementation projects (preferably full lifecycles)
• Experience in conducting projects using an Agile methodology would be an asset
• Certification in one of other Project Management methodologies Prince2 or PMP would be an asset
