Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Business Analyst to understand current business practices and collaborate with users to support partners. The role combines business process knowledge with IT collaboration to analyze, design, test and implement solutions.

You will promote ERP functionality, assist in upgrades and deployments, develop end-user training, and produce clear reports for management. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred in accounting/finance/IS
• Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication, with ability to translate IT info to business terms
• Ability to build relationships across executives, managers, SMEs, users and vendors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Responsibilities

• Function as ERP systems promoter representing software functionality for finance and supply chain
• Coordinate root-cause analysis and continuous improvement responses to operational issues
• Support upgrades and implementation projects with functional business process input
• Develop end-user training materials and documentation
• Plan, design and configure systems as needed for customizations
• Create detailed test cases and scripts for UAT and system integration
• Maintain strong IT-business relationships and communicate findings to management
• Gather data, analyze and summarize for management reviews
• Support ERP enhancements and new technology solutions from requirements to testing
