Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Epicor CMS (Solarsoft iVP).
• Serve as a key subject matter expert for CMS functionality, configuration, troubleshooting, and business processes.
• Support the transition and ongoing operation of CMS within a hosted environment.
• Investigate and resolve second-level ERP and application support issues.
• Partner directly with business users to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and identify system improvements.
• Train and support users on Epicor CMS functionality and best practices.
• Support manufacturing, materials, inventory, accounting, and related business processes within CMS.
• Perform application testing, configuration, and implementation of system changes.
• Develop and maintain reports and system queries as needed.
• Support EDI processes and customer and supplier integrations.
• Maintain ERP documentation, procedures, and internal knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and hosting partners to resolve CMS-related issues.
• Assist with knowledge transfer and provide guidance and training to other members of the team.

CMK Resources is seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support one of our partners in the manufacturing industry. This role will serve as a key resource for the organization’s Epicor CMS (Solarsoft iVP) environment, providing hands-on ERP support, troubleshooting, user assistance, training, and continuous system improvement.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Epicor CMS experience within a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working directly with business users to understand requirements, resolve application issues, and improve ERP processes. This individual will also play an important role in knowledge transfer and will have the opportunity to become a key Epicor CMS subject matter expert within the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive hands-on experience with Epicor CMS (Solarsoft iVP).
• Strong understanding of Epicor CMS functionality and manufacturing business processes.
• Experience supporting ERP applications within a manufacturing environment; automotive manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with CMS application support, troubleshooting, configuration, and testing.
• Working knowledge of IBM AS/400, iSeries, or IBM i environments and basic system commands.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical ERP solutions.
• Experience training users or serving as an ERP subject matter expert.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• EDI experience within a manufacturing environment.
• SQL experience.
• Report and query development.
• ERP implementations, migrations, or significant system upgrades.
• Experience supporting a hosted ERP environment.
• Leadership, mentoring, or team-training experience.

• This position is focused on Epicor CMS application expertise rather than IBM infrastructure administration.
• Deep server administration, hardware maintenance, backup administration, job scheduling, and broader infrastructure responsibilities are not required.
