Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems & Data Analyst to join a manufacturing organization in a highly visible, hands-on role focused on optimizing Epicor Kinetic-based systems, data, and analytics.

You will partner with Operations, Finance, Engineering and Sales to translate business needs into scalable solutions, develop SQL queries and dashboards, support ERP upgrades, and explore AI/ML opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, data analytics, or a related hybrid role.
• Hands-on Epicor ERP experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including BOMs, routings, WIP, production scheduling, and engineering change control.
• Advanced experience developing dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Experience translating business requirements into system configurations, dashboards, reports, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience improving processes, troubleshooting systems, and supporting automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems & Data Analyst to join a manufacturing organization in a highly visible, hands‑on role focused on optimizing business systems, data, and analytics. This is an opportunity to serve as a key technical and analytical partner across Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Sales, translating business needs into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Epicor Kinetic, SQL, manufacturing processes, reporting/analytics, and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with business stakeholders, improve data quality and system performance, support system enhancements, and explore emerging technologies such as AI/ML.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
