Job description

My client, who is a leading ERP Software Solutions provider, is currently looking to onboard an experienced ERP Application Support consultant.

This role will allow individuals to work remotely and thus be based anywhere within the U.S., with a strong preference for those already based on the East Coast.

Due to industry requirements, U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders are encouraged to apply.

You will be supporting a range of modules within my client’s ERP Software solution, including Accounting, Stock, CRM, E-Commerce, Business Intelligence, and Supply Chain Management. You will be a key member of this evolving team, working as part of the wider Customer Success Office (CSO). The mission is to provide the support and services required to help customers meet their ambitions for their ERP software.

The Role :

The Application Support Consultant will be responsible for assisting my client’s growing customer base with technical and operational queries across various business processes.

Consultants often handle more complex tickets, requiring focused time to resolve issues without interruptions from incoming calls or quick-response tickets in Freshdesk.

You will also support other team members by providing guidance on tickets, investigating issues, and feeding back escalated ticket information to facilitate upskilling.

Mandatory Skills :

• A proven background in application support.
• Working knowledge of Accounting, ERP, or Business Management Software systems OR a degree or third-level qualification in Computer Science, Accounting, or Business.
• Alternatively, strong knowledge of financial and management reporting with financial acumen.
• Strong knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, including SQL scripting and administration.
• Working knowledge of FTP/SFTP, SSL certificates, REST API, SOAP, SoapUI, Postman, Excel, and CSV files.
• Experience with relevant business software, including third-party integrations, EDI, logistics, warehouse management, CRM, E-Commerce, and Business Intelligence.
• Skills required include application support, ERP, SQL, soft skills, communication skills, and ERP consulting.
