Job summary

The Erosion Company (TEC) currently has openings for Construction Workers in Lexington, NC. TEC provides erosion control services across the Southeast and offers competitive pay based on experience.

As a crew member you will load and unload materials, follow safety standards, prepare terrain, install silt fencing and erosion blankets, operate small equipment when required, and assist teammates. Immediate start available; overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and
• At least six months of prior experience in the construction field.
• Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards and proper use of machinery.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow crew leader instructions.
• Prepare terrain by removing, filling, and compacting.
• Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using hand tools.
• Assist fellow crew members and perform site cleanup.
• Act as a spotter for vehicles.
