Job summary

The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring Construction Workers to join our team in Augusta, GA. This role focuses on safe, efficient erosion control tasks and hands-on site preparation, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities include operating basic machinery where possible, installing erosion control materials, and supporting crew leaders to ensure timely project completion. Immediate start available with overtime during peak seasons and health insurance options.

Qualifications

• Physically able to walk, bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in rain, heat and other inclement weather.
• At least six months of prior construction experience.
• Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards and use of machinery and equipment.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders.
• Remove, fill, compact, and prepare terrain.
• Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets with hand tools.
• Assist crew members and perform site clean-up.
• Reload leftover materials after job completion.
• Act as a spotter for vehicles when required.
