Job summary

PwC is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management/SOX Associate to support audit and assurance engagements evaluating internal controls, governance, and risk management across client environments. You will learn from diverse client work, contribute to project tasks, and develop skills to deliver dependable work within our Audit and Assurance practice.

You will help assess control design and operating effectiveness, gather information, document findings, and support senior team members on enterprise

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year of experience preferred in risk, audit, or assurance roles.
• Familiarity with internal controls and SOX requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and ERM engagements through control walkthroughs, documentation, and testing.
• Review financial reporting processes and controls to identify gaps and weaknesses.
• Analyze business processes and control design to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare workpapers, summaries, and issue documentation for senior review.
• Gather information from client teams to support audit planning and fieldwork.
• Apply auditing methods and compliance knowledge to assigned tasks.
• Utilize data analysis tools to spot trends and control exceptions.
• Contribute to remediation tracking and follow-up activities.
