Job summary

PwC is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management/SOX Associate to support audit and assurance engagements focused on evaluating internal controls across client environments. You will assist in assessing control design, documenting findings, and supporting senior team members on enterprise risk activities while expanding technical knowledge and client-facing confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and enterprise risk management engagements through control walkthroughs and testing.
• Review financial reporting processes, internal controls, and supporting evidence to identify gaps and control weaknesses.
• Analyze business processes, transaction flows, and control design to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare workpapers, summaries, and issue documentation for senior review.
• Gather information from client teams to support audit planning and fieldwork.
• Apply auditing methods and internal control concepts in assigned tasks.
• Use data analysis and digital tools to spot trends and control exceptions.
• Contribute to remediation tracking by updating issue status and follow-up.
