Job summary

PwC is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management/SOX Associate to support audit and assurance engagements focused on evaluating internal controls, governance, and risk management processes across client environments in the United States.

You will learn from varied client work, document findings, and assist senior team members on enterprise risk and SOX activities while developing technical knowledge and client-facing confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in risk, audit, or related field.
• Familiarity with internal controls and SOX concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and enterprise risk management engagements.
• Review financial reporting processes and internal controls to identify gaps.
• Analyze business processes and control design to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare workpapers, summaries, and issue documentation for senior review.
• Gather information from client teams to support audit planning and fieldwork.
• Apply auditing methods and control concepts to assigned tasks.
• Use data analysis and visualization to spot trends and control exceptions.
• Contribute to remediation tracking and follow-up activities.
• Learn client operations and regulatory expectations across industries.
