PwC in Charlotte is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management/SOX Associate to support audit and assurance engagements focused on evaluating internal controls, governance, and risk management across client environments. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in internal controls, risk management, or related area.

Responsabilités

• Support internal audit and enterprise risk management engagements through control walkthroughs, documentation, and testing activities.
• Review financial reporting processes, internal controls, and supporting evidence to identify gaps and control weaknesses.
• Analyze business processes, transaction flows, and control design to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare workpapers, summaries, and issue documentation for senior review.
• Gather information from client teams and various sources to support audit planning and fieldwork.
• Apply auditing methods, internal control concepts, and compliance knowledge to assigned tasks.
• Use data analysis, visualization, and digital tools to spot trends, anomalies, and control exceptions.
• Contribute to remediation tracking by updating issue status and supporting follow-up activities.
• Learn client operations and regulatory expectations across industries and control environments.
• Uphold professional and technical standards, independence, and PwC code of conduct.
