Job summary

Charles Schwab in the United States is seeking an ERISA Compliance professional to support retirement plan testing and reporting for mid- to large-sized employers. You will ensure accurate testing and timely Form 5500 submissions while maintaining compliant plan administration.

You will collaborate with ERISA Consulting, Relationship Management, and external auditors to address complex testing issues and deliver client value.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in the qualified retirement plan industry with ERISA testing experience
• Thorough knowledge of IRS and DOL Code and Regulations with complex non-discrimination testing
• Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication, and strong Excel skills
• Project leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare ADP/ACP testing, Top Heavy testing, Coverage testing, 401(a)(4) Nondiscrimination testing, and Form 5500s within statutory timelines
• Perform testing and serve as primary liaison with ERISA Consulting, external clients, and Relationship Management for complex issues
• Assist with allocations of employer contributions and specialized testing
• Partner with Relationship Management and other teams on higher level client issues and auditor requests
• Serve as direct contact with plan sponsors and external auditors
• Provide peer review and mentor less experienced staff
• Take on additional project leadership responsibilities
