Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a part-time industrial health specialist to deliver injury prevention services and total worker health programs. The role covers triage, first aid, ergonomic assessments, and ongoing coaching at designated Fort Worth service centers.

Responsibilities include communication across injury teams, case management, and facilitating modified-work options within restrictions, with a focus on reducing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health field; Master’s preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• 3+ years in orthopedics, wellness, industrial/occupational health preferred.
• Ergonomic certification preferred; BOC certified ATC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and escalation of care when needed.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with all parties in injury management.
• Support the injured employee, monitor care, promote reporting, and assist in investigations.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work within physical restrictions.
• Perform ergonomic analyses and recommend workstation changes and tool use.
• Deliver on-the-job education and coaching to improve body mechanics and resilience.
• Maintain records of triage, assessments, first-aid, and education.
• Proactively engage with employees at their work location.
