Job summary

Ford's BlueOval Battery Park Michigan site seeks an In-Plant Ergonomist/Safety Engineer to lead ergonomics risk reduction across plant operations. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and safety teams to apply standards, develop solutions, and drive the Safety Operating System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ergonomics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, or related field.
• Two+ years supporting ergonomics programs, assessments, and manufacturing safety.
• Experience with ergonomic risk assessment, issue resolution, and launch activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify ergonomics risks across plant operations and develop solutions.
• Lead the Local Ergonomics Committee and chair meetings.
• Provide ergonomics updates to plant leadership and track issues to closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ergonomics concerns.
