Job summary

Ford Motor Company is hiring an In-Plant Ergonomist/Safety Engineer for the BlueOval Battery Park Michigan plant. You will partner with operations to identify and reduce ergonomic risks, implement safety standards, and drive the Safety Operating System across plant floors.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in ergonomics or related field and at least two years of hands-on safety and ergonomics experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ergonomics, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of ergonomics or safety experience in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reduce ergonomics risks across plant operations.
• Lead Local Ergonomics Committee (LEC) development and meetings.
• Support safety processes and SOS implementation on the shop floor.
• Apply Ford ergonomics standards and tools to analyze and solve safety problems.
