Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to deliver industrial injury prevention programs focusing on total worker health in Fort Worth. The role includes triage, first aid, education, and coordination with care teams.

Schedule includes Tuesday and Thursday shifts, with emphasis on ergonomic evaluation and proactive health guidance. The ideal candidate holds a related bachelor’s degree, CPR/First Aid, and 3+ years in industrial/occupational health or ergonomics, with BOC-ATC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Experience in orthopedics, wellness, industrial/occupational health, or ergonomic experience a plus.
• Ergonomic certification preferred.
• BOC certified ATC, in good standing preferred.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and/or escalation of care if needed.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with all parties involved in managing an injury case.
• Support the injured employee, monitor medical care, promote reporting, and participate in accident investigation.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work in compliance with physical restrictions.
• Help employees prevent musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses and provide workstation/motion recommendations.
• Provide on-the-job education and coaching to improve physical resilience.
• Assist employees in lifestyle improvements related to health and stress management.
• Mitigate risks related to workers’ total health to reduce injuries.
• Develop job-specific agility routines and work-hardening programs.
• Maintain records of triage, assessments, first aid, and education.
