Job summary

OBE is seeking a Manager of Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, and Occupational Health to develop and deploy programs that identify, evaluate, and control workplace hazards while promoting employee health across our manufacturing and distribution footprint.

The role reports to the VP of Environment, Health, and Safety and requires an analytical, collaborative professional with a passion for proactive risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, or occupational health in manufacturing.
• Experience with ergonomic evaluations, exposure assessments, job hazard analyses.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), or CSP preferred; travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve ergonomics, IH, and occupational health programs to reduce hazards.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments, exposure monitoring, job hazard analyses, risk evaluations.
• Manage health initiatives: surveillance, medical evaluations, wellness, case management, return-to-work.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, HazCom, SDS, respiratory protection, training, and reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and site leadership to investigate incidents and drive improvements.
