Job summary

OBE (Old-Castle Building Envelop) in Houston seeks an experienced Facility EHS Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental programs for the site, ensuring a zero-harm culture and full regulatory compliance. You will guide the facility's safety initiatives, standard operating procedures, and data systems.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and robust regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership to lead meetings and coach peers/ leaders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage safety, health, and environmental activities for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and company requirements.
• Maintain safety/ environmental records per federal, state and local rules.
• Develop and improve safety initiatives and annual Safety Plan.
• Coordinate safety documentation (JSAs, PPE assessments, equipment evaluations).
• Review and update Facility Written Programs (LOTO, PIT, Hazcom, etc.).
