Job summary

Etsy, Inc. is seeking a Community Programs Manager to join the Workplace Experience team and lead the ERG program with day-to-day ownership.

You will build operating structures, tools, and partnerships to enable ERG leaders and communities to thrive, while aligning with People, Talent, Advocacy, Sustainability, and Workplace partners. You will manage onboarding, training, and program milestones, translate priorities into actionable plans, and ensure consistent, high‑quality ERG programming

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in program management, employee community, DEI, HR, or related field.
• Experience supporting ERGs, employee-led communities, or similar programs.
• Strong program-management instincts: turn ambiguity into clear plans and maintain multiple workstreams.
• High emotional intelligence and sound judgment when discussing identity, belonging, and sensitive topics.
• Collaborative, service-oriented approach that supports leaders without taking ownership away.
• Strong written communication and ability to clarify for a global audience.
• Comfortable in a changing environment and helping others adopt better workflows.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person events.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operating rhythm of Etsy’s ERG program and provide tools, resources, and support to ERG leaders.
• Coordinate ERG lead applications, onboarding, training, and transitions.
• Translate priorities into clear plans, milestones, and follow-through with partners across People, Talent, Advocacy, Sustainability&Impact, and Workplace.
• Build program infrastructure: playbooks, calendars, trackers, templates, budget processes, and communication channels.
• Gather feedback, identify patterns, and propose evolution of the program.
• Maintain visibility of activity, decisions, risks, and progress for Workplace and cross-functional partners.
• Support design and delivery of other Community&Belonging programs as priorities evolve.
