Job summary

GridBeyond is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs and Market Operations professional to support US power markets with a primary focus on ERCOT. The role requires deep ERCOT knowledge and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in ERCOT market operations, analysis, or trading support.

You will monitor market developments, assess regulatory and commercial opportunities, support battery energy storage strategies, and deliver market insights that influence customer and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Energy Management, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of direct ERCOT market experience.
• 3+ years in power markets, energy market analysis, energy trading support, market operations, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets including energy, ancillary services, congestion, and capacity mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Direct ERCOT operational support and market analysis.
• Monitor ERCOT wholesale market developments and report insights.
• Prepare market commentary, forecasts, and recommendations for strategy.
• Coordinate QSE and compliance activities related to ERCOT market submissions.
