Job summary

GridBeyond is seeking an energetic Trading Operations analyst to support our US NOC, helping monetize flexibility and generation across energy markets and ancillary services. You will work with the market optimization team to analyze dynamics and execute trading strategies.

Based in Austin, this Mon-Fri role covers evening peaks and offers exposure to CAISO, ERCOT, MISO and PJM, with opportunities to learn global markets while delivering reliable service to clients.

Qualifications

• Understanding of energy trading is preferred but not required.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor US customers and key markets to ensure responsive service.
• Ensure SLA targets for uptime and ticket resolution are met.
• Optimize portfolio in ancillary services and energy markets.
• Define short-term trading strategies and execute trades.
• Support expansion into new markets and develop tools and reports.
