VEG in Portland, OR is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of emergency care. You will work with doctors and the team delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care to pets and their families.

Responsibilities include triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, with opportunities to grow skills. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, people-centric care for clients and pets.
• Strong communication with team and pet parents.
• Maintains composure in high-stress emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care, triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Administer treatments and support during emergencies from triage to discharge.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with doctors to ensure compassionate, gold-standard care.
