Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Golden Valley, MN seeks an ER Veterinary Technician for a part-time role. The position offers hourly pay with shift differentials for nights/weekends and opportunities to advance through competency assessments.

Responsibilities include anesthesia induction/monitoring, emergency triage, digital radiography, vascular access, and mentoring teammates while delivering compassionate care to patients and addressing client questions.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with state license.
• CPR certification preferred or required.
• Experience in triage and anesthesia monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using monitoring equipment.
• Perform digital radiography with correct patient positioning.
• Place and maintain IV catheters and feeding tubes as needed.
• Identify signs of instability and alert Veterinarian promptly.
• Mentor and train coworkers and address client concerns.
