As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will assist with anesthesia, triage, radiography, vital signs, IV catheters, and feeding tubes while mentoring others and supporting anxious clients.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary technician license or certification.
• Experience in emergency or critical care preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate care for ill pets and families.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and monitor patients.
• Triages emergency cases and records vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and alert the veterinarian as needed.
• Administer medications and perform phlebotomy with IV access.
• Place feeding tubes and central lines when needed.
• Mentor and train fellow staff; support client communication.
• Provide empathetic care to pets and their families.
