Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front lines of emergency care. You will work with our doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care, from triage through discharge, in a fast-paced, supportive hospital setting.

You’ll engage in anesthesia, diagnostics, monitoring, and critical care nursing while staying by clients and patients in stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA accredited degree preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the VEG practice state is required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from first triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Perform tests, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
