Job summary

You will work closely with DVMs and nursing staff in a high-energy environment. Qualifications
- State-registered Veterinary Technician license is required.
- Previous veterinary experience, emergency experience preferred.
- Proficient in calculations for drugs and CRIs.
Responsibilities
- Record and deliver organized rounds and gather information as needed.
- Evaluate incoming patients and prioritize based on assessment.
- Coordinate treatment plans with the patient care team and nursing staff.
- Educate clients on home care, meds, and hospital updates.
- Assist DVM with patient assessment, treatment, and procedures.
- Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients.
- Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation.
- Perform in-house lab tests and prep samples for outside labs.
