Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in the United States is seeking a Doctor Coordinator to support the hospital's ER veterinarians by handling administrative duties and coordinating patient flow in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting.

You will record patient histories, attach documents, prepare discharge templates, dispense prescriptions, track diagnostics, and coordinate with the Charge Nurse to schedule procedures and care across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in Client Care, preferably veterinary field.
• Valid driver's license for driving the DoveLewis transport van desired.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy emergency setting with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record patient history from registration into the medical record.
• Attach records, diagnostics, and write summaries in patient history.
• Begin discharge templates for DVM approval and finalization.
• Dispense prescriptions per DVM instructions.
• Coordinate with Charge Nurse to schedule procedures and care.
• Set up exams, coordinate with departments for surgeries or ultrasounds.
