Job summary

Exceptional Community Hospitals is seeking an Emergency Room Technician (PRN shift) to support physicians and nurses in the Emergency Center at our new community hospital. The role involves patient care, lab tasks, and environment management to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include documenting vitals, performing phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, transport, and assisting with exams. EMT-P experience or ER background is preferred; shift includes 12-hour coverage and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' ER experience or EMT-P certification required.

Responsibilities

• Document vitals, phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, and care/procedures.
• Assist RNs/physicians with exams and procedures.
• Maintain clean patient areas and supply stocking.
• Perform Point-of-Care testing and quality checks.
