Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking an ER Technician II to provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care under physician orders in the Emergency Department. You will operate laboratory equipment, support discharge planning, and provide patient education as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current Texas EMT-P certification (or National EMT-P), BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 90 days). 1 year of related work experience is preferred; hours are PRN and shift varies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (within 90 days).
• 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care as ordered by physician.
• Operate laboratory equipment and support care activities for patients and families.
• Assist with patient discharge and patient education as part of the care team.
