Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will take vital signs, collect specimens, assist with procedures, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under supervision.

Qualified candidates typically hold a High School Diploma or GED, BLS, and may have EMT/paramedic or CNA experience. Travel to multiple facility locations is required, with a flexible PRN schedule and ongoing staff collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with one of the listed pathways.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets; exceptions noted.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• ER-related licenses or certifications as specified per market.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and specimens.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Assist with patient activities and care under nurse direction.
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety measures.
• Maintain patient privacy and a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend required staff meetings and perform additional duties.
