Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) seeks an ED support role focused on triage and patient flow in a fast-paced environment in Baltimore. You will document vital signs, venous access, and oxygen placement under RN supervision while ensuring accurate patient records and smooth ED operations.

Applicant must have EMT/CRT/Paramedic training, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of related experience. Strong computer skills and the ability to work under pressure are required to deliver quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and graduation from an accredited EMT/CRT/Paramedic program.
• Current and valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete triage documentation including vital signs, venous access, phlebotomy, and oxygen placement under RN guidance.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate care plans to patients and families.
• Assist with ED room cleaning and prepare equipment as needed.
• Document procedures in the EHR and ensure accurate data entry.
• Perform blood glucose testing and report abnormal results to RN/MD.
• Assist with specimen collection, lab processing, and monitoring patient status.
