Job summary

The Emerus Holdings, Inc. team is seeking a skilled clinical support professional to provide technical assistance and patient care across assigned areas. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant emergency care credentials.

Required certifications include BLS; ACLS/ALS is required in most markets, with PALS preferred. Duties include vital signs, specimen collection, lab testing, wound care, patient safety, privacy, and assisting with admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required under most market rules.
• Completion of Medical Corpsman, EMT-P/AEMT/Paramedic, or EMT-B with ER experience is acceptable.
• ACLS/ALS certification is required in most markets; exceptions apply by market.
• PALS certification is strongly preferred where available.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and initiating EKG is preferred.
• Fluency in English, with clear written and spoken communication.
• Certain markets require state-specific clearances prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and specimens.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policy and CLIA guidelines.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment and follow aseptic techniques.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
