Job summary

Southwest Healthcare System is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Technician responsible for administering patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This role requires managing patient needs regarding age and clinical diagnosis while performing various duties to ensure smooth patient flow.

Candidates must have BLS certification, EMT or CNA qualification, or be enrolled in an RN program with relevant clinical coursework.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care to designated patients under registered nurse supervision.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties in the Emergency Department.
• Manage individual needs of the patient based on age and clinical diagnosis.
