Job summary

CareWell Health Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to provide direct patient care under the guidance of Registered or Practical Nurses. The role includes handling equipment, stocking supplies, and assisting with patient transport and basic treatments.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of experience preferred, and certifications such as BLS-CPR (ERT preferred). The position requires flexibility for holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience preferred.
• ERT/BLS-CPR certifications preferred (ERT preferred; BLS-CPR required).
• Phlebotomy, EKG, and basic patient-care skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Collect test specimens as directed per procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, splinting, transport, wound care, dressing.
• Assist patients with care and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Work as part of the care team and support colleagues.
• Document procedures accurately and timely.
• Assist nurses with patient treatments and vitals/charting.
