Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking an Emergency Department Technician PD in Laguna Hills. The role supports the ED team, performs basic patient care, and helps with documentation and flow under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Per Diem, daytime shifts, with pay range noted.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of acute care experience, BLS certification, and basic computer skills. CNA/EMT-B preferred. Join a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience as unit secretary, nursing assistant, monitor technician or nursing student in earlier semesters is a plus.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Emergency Department activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Document in the patient medical record and assist with data collection and patient flow.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and basic patient care tasks.
• Maintain safety, privacy, and cleanliness in the ED environment.
