Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking an Emergency Department Technician in Laguna Hills for an evening shift. This role supports the ED under the supervision of an RN, handling data collection, basic patient care, and efficient communication across departments.

The position emphasizes accurate documentation in the patient record, timely admission/discharge flow, and safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. A one-year acute care background is preferred, with BLS required and CNA/EMT-B preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care experience preferred.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Supports ED team under RN direction.
• Documents patient information accurately in EMR.
• Assists with vital signs, daily living activities and care.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely.
