Job summary

Riverside Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to support fast-paced patient care in the ER. You will assist nurses and physicians with assessments, monitor vitals, and help with mobility and procedures while ensuring patient safety.

The role requires CNA, CMA, or EMT-B certification and current BLS. Expect a collaborative team environment with emphasis on compassionate communication, safety, and adherence to infection control and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• One-year experience as a CNA or EMT-B is preferred.
• CNA, CMA, or EMT-B is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, report abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, turning, positioning, and transferring patients.
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing as directed by nursing staff.
• Document care activities in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and timely.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and use PPE appropriately.
• Support setup, operation, and cleaning of medical equipment as directed.
