Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora St. Luke's Emergency Department is seeking a Paramedic/EMT to provide bedside care under supervision and assist with emergencies. You will administer medications, operate specialized equipment, and coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure timely patient care.

The role is full-time (36 hours per week) with days, evenings, or nights and a weekend rotation, plus comprehensive benefits under Advocate Health’s Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• EMT/Paramedic license issued by the state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or scheduled completion within 6 months.
• Completion of an accredited EMS program.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, administer medications and operate ventilators.
• Assist physicians with procedures and emergencies.
• Document patient information and charges in EHR.
• Coordinate with team to communicate patient needs and care plans.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and infection prevention.
