Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license to practice in the state(s) where services are provided; BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit governance, quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engage patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
