Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking an Emergency Room Technician I to join a nights team. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a minimum hiring rate of $15.91 per hour, with potential for higher rates for experienced staff and up to $3 in shift differentials during evenings, nights, and weekends.

The position includes opportunities for tuition assistance up to $40,000 to become a nurse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Support the care team with wound care, splinting, EKGs, and mobility tasks.
• Transport specimens, medications, and blood products as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and unit cleanliness per policy.
• Coordinate with care providers, patients, and visitors to ensure quality care.
