Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking an Emergency Room Technician I to join our team in the GWV ER. This full-time, evenings position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a minimum hiring rate of $15.91 per hour, with increased rates for experienced individuals and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

This role supports patient care under RN supervision, performs triage, EKGs, wound care, and transport of patients, medications, and specimens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 6 months.
• Ability to deliver patient care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient care and document needs.
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Assist with wound care, splinting and EKGs.
• Transport patients, medications, and specimens as needed.
• Support unit desk clerk duties when required.
• Promote a caring, patient-centered environment.
