Job summary

Envision seeks a Scribe to provide real-time documentation in an Emergency Department under the direction of a Physician or APP, enabling the provider to focus more on patient care. The scribe documents dictated and activities in the EMR and does not act independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or in progress).
• Biology coursework at undergrad level or above preferred; Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology coursework preferred.
• At least 100 hours of healthcare work/volunteer/shadowing preferred.
• Experience in direct patient care environment preferred.
