Job summary

Envision is looking for a Scribe to work in the Emergency Department. In this role, you'll document patient notes under clinician direction and gain insights into medical operations. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a basic understanding of medical terminology.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or progress towards one, alongside relevant coursework in Biology and Medical Terminology. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred, and the starting pay is $17.50/hr.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and general medical knowledge.
• At least 100 hours of work, volunteer, or shadowing experience in the healthcare field preferred.
• Experience in a direct patient care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient notes in an Electronic Medical Record.
• Witness the medical decision-making process of clinicians.
• Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
