Freeman Health System is seeking a nurse to support the Emergency Department's SANE program, delivering forensic exam services via telehealth when on-site coverage is unavailable. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, evidence collection, and collaboration with law enforcement and medical staff.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license for Missouri or a compact state, and complete SAFE-T training. BLS certification is required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed care required.
• Missouri RN license (or compact-state license) required.
• Certification in BLS and SAFE-T training preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative SANE services via telehealth to hospitals lacking 24/7 coverage.
• Perform forensic examinations and evidence collection following SAFE-T guidelines.
• Coordinate with on-site staff and the hub site to ensure patient care and documentation.
