Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a PRN SANE Clinical Nurse to support the Central Staffing Office across multiple Missouri hospitals. The role focuses on trauma-informed, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing sexual assault, violence, and related crises.

Flexibility to float to various units and on-call shifts is required. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, care planning and collaboration with the SANE program to ensure timely access to skilled, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• RN license with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Completion of a 40-hour SANE training program required.
• Willingness to travel between BJC hospital entities.
• Ability to respond to on-call needs and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, coordinate and collaborate with patient, family and interprofessional team to assess needs and plan interventions.
• Educate patient and family about measures to promote health and comfort.
• Provide direct patient care in medical, surgical and telemetry units within a centralized staffing model.
