Job summary

Medical City Sachse, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER environment.

The RN coordinates care with physicians and care teams, administers treatments, documents diligently, and educates patients and families on conditions and follow-up. Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, ENPC, PALS, TNCC, RN licensure, and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• ENPC certification required within 1 year of start date.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date.
• TNCC certification required within 1 year of start date.
• RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document care promptly and thoroughly in the patient record.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipated needs.
• Advise on post-discharge care and follow-up plans.
